        Jay is no stranger to building close-knit relationships and driving business growth. With over 20 years of managerial sales and trading experience in the financial industry, he now applies these skills to J.A. Jennings, Inc. in his role as President.
        A fourth-generation leader of J.A. Jennings, Inc., Jay plays a vital role helping to establish and enhance partnerships that enable future growth for the firm. He credits his time with mid- to large-size Wall Street firms as setting the foundation for his current position and is passionate about taking on new challenges.
        Jay is a proud father of three sons and a travel enthusiast with a deep appreciation for sports, music, food, and the arts.

Project Executive

        Milijana has over 18 years of experience in the construction industry, specializing in project management, strategic planning, team leadership, and stakeholder communication, with a focus on delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.  Millie began her career as a Residential Property Manager, working her way up before transitioning into a Construction Project Manager.
        Millie now serves as the Project Executive at J.A. Jennings, Inc. She leads and overseas all aspects of our Project Management teams. From her own unique knowledge and experience of leading large-scale, high-profile construction projects, she is easily able to implement what she has learned and lead our team here to success.
        In her personal life, Millie is a devoted wife, and a proud mother to a wonderful son. She believes in making time for what truly matters, being present with loved ones and creating lasting memories together. Millie enjoys making the most out of every moment at work and at home.

 

Donika Paloka

Chief Estimator

Donika, a seasoned estimator with over 18 years of experience in pricing, purchasing, and procurement, Donika brings solid cost-analysis skills and budgetary expertise to the firm. Her strong analytical abilities and deep understanding of construction processes make her an invaluable asset to any project.

Outside the office, Donika is a dedicated foodie and travel enthusiast, always on the lookout for her next adventure. Whether she’s wandering through art galleries or discovering new restaurants, she brings the same curiosity and enthusiasm to her personal life as she does to her work.

General Superintendent

        James brings over 39 years of experience in the construction industry, currently as General Superintendent of J.A. Jennings, Inc. As a licensed New York City Superintendent, he oversees the company’s superintendent staff for each project, ensuring timely and budget-conscious completion. Prior to joining J.A. Jennings, Inc. in 2012, James owned and operated a family-run construction business based in Long Island, NY.

        James is an avid outdoorsman with a passion for hiking, fly fishing, canoeing, and hunting. You can find him together with his wife and three children in the mountains and rivers of northern NY and PA.

 

Jeff Cohen

Jeff Cohen

Controller

        Jeff brings a unique perspective to J.A. Jennings, Inc. as both a certified public accountant (CPA) and former construction company owner. In his day-to-day role as Controller since 2018, Jeff oversees the Financial and Human Resources function of J.A. Jennings, Inc., including maintaining company books and records, monitoring client job costs, and managing payroll and benefit programs for employees.
        Outside of work, Jeff can often be found with a pair of drumsticks, having 30+ years of experience as a professional musician. He also enjoys woodworking, restoring his 110-year-old home and using his construction skills on Habitat for Humanity builds to help others.
